Blair was born on February 23rd 1992 to Pauline and Roy Robinson. He was an unexpected joy, whose very first breath spoke volumes to the family he was born into. From the beginning, Blair was a compassionate little boy who grew into the loving soul we all had the pleasure of knowing.
Blair attended school in Windsor, CT before moving to Raleigh, NC his senior year of high school. He loved playing lacrosse, hanging out with friends, and preparing for the next chapter of his life. After high school, Blair attended Wake Tech Community College in Raleigh, NC and entered the workforce, working at Food Lion and then Whole Foods. Many have shared how his smile and sense of humor made coming to school and work a pleasure. He had a love for photography, writing, developing musical beats with his friends, and simply enjoying the company of the person who he called his friend.
Blair's siblings were a lot older... A LOT OLDER (LOL). He is survived by his sisters Dionne and Michaela Robinson from Windsor, CT and his older brother, Carlos Robinson, who currently resides in London, England. As the younger brother of siblings almost 20 years his senior, Blair often joked that he had 3 mothers and 2 fathers. Blair was to play an integral part of his sister Dionne's wedding in November 2013. He was excited to walk his sister down the aisle to his brother-in-law, Michael Bassett. Blair and Mike had developed a brotherly relationship over the past 6 years. They are ALL deeply saddened, but will continue to possess a love and adoration that is beyond words for Blair.
Blair became an uncle in 2010 to his niece, Maisyn. From the moment the two of them met, they developed a beautiful connection. Maisyn was always excited to hear that her Uncle Blair was coming to town. She would spend their quality time together sitting on his lap while he searched for YouTube videos or pictures of "cute and cuddly" animals that entertained Maisyn and allowed Uncle Blair to listen to his music in the background. Maisyn knows that Uncle Blair is in Heaven with her recently departed cats, Niny and Tasha and her favorite pitbull Beauty. She will continue to declare her love for each of them during her nightly prayers.
Blair's passing is one that reminds us, you never know when the one you love will not return. It is in his spirit that we ask that you not allow yourself to be stuck mourning the loss of this incredible person but that you grow to cherish the memories you have of him. Let us all remember that although he has left us behind on this earth, he HAS NOT left our hearts and soul.
God Bless Us All.
